our mission
Our mission is to build a vibrant culture of wellness
Our mission is to build a vibrant culture of wellness by combining the foundational principles of chiropractic care with innovative, evidence-based treatments. We address health by providing spinal and extremity adjustments, rehabilitative exercise, nutritional guidance, patient education, and therapeutic modalities. Whether patients are recovering from injuries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to optimize their health, we provide care that is professional, compassionate, and effective. By embodying the true meaning of culture — shared attitudes, values, and practices — our team strives to inspire healthier lifestyles, foster community engagement, and make holistic healthcare an attractive and accessible way of life.
At Culture Chiropractic and Family Wellness Centers, P.C., our purpose is to create a culture of health — a shared set of values, practices, and goals that empower individuals and families to embrace lifelong wellness. We are here to cultivate an environment that is safe, supportive, and community-centered, where holistic healthcare becomes both attainable and inspiring.
Meet Dr. Deidra Nicole Wells, D.C.
Greetings!

I’m Dr. Deidra Nicole Wells, Founder and Clinic Director of Culture Chiropractic and Family Wellness Centers P.C., a wellness-based, holistic healthcare practice proudly serving Prince Georges County and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It is truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance!

My Professional Journey

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Florida State University before pursuing my passion for chiropractic care at Life University in Atlanta, GA, where I obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I have been a licensed Chiropractor since 2011 and currently hold an active chiropractic license with physical therapy privileges in Maryland in addition to being certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

I am skilled in a wide range of chiropractic techniques, including  Gonstead, Thompson, Webster’s Technique (especially beneficial for expectant mothers), Cox Flexion/Distraction, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), and the Activator Methods. In addition, I am certified in Dry Needling and currently pursuing a certification in Functional Medicine. This knowledge base allows me to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to patient care. As a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association, I remain dedicated to staying at the forefront of research, innovation, and best practices in my profession.

My professional experience extends beyond traditional chiropractic care as over the last 10 years, I have worked with several pharmaceutical companies as well as the National Institutes of Health to monitor clinical research trials related to Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, Pediatric Mood Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and COVID-19.

My Philosophy of Care

At Culture Chiropractic, my mission is to cultivate a culture of optimal health and healing. I believe in providing a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment where patients of all ages feel empowered to reach their wellness goals. Our philosophy is rooted not only in individualized, whole-body care but also in community interaction and engagement, because true health extends beyond the individual and thrives when we create stronger, healthier communities together.

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of the clinic, I am a devoted wife and proud “boy mom” to a fun-loving toddler. I have a passion for food and can often be found exploring local grocery stores, bakeries, and farmer’s markets as I experiment with new recipes in the kitchen. I also love to travel — whether it’s a spontaneous road trip or an international adventure, I’m always ready to explore new places and experiences. And as a lifelong sports fan, I never miss a chance to cheer on my favorite teams — Go FSU Noles, and Rise Up ATL Falcons!
